- This is me working through how I thought I was going to Italy to escape my 40th birthday...found out I had breast cancer...and discovered that...among many other things...being 40 isn't fatal....and neither is cancer!

Mel, I'm WITH ya -- I've been through my own personal wild ride with cancer over the past year: bilateral cancers, multiple surgeries, radiation (but thank God, not chemo)...I have another course of radiation ahead of me, but I consider myself a survivor.
You hang in there. I was wandering around the Chris Isaak website & stumbled on your blog. GOOD LUCK to you, stay pigheaded about your health, and you WILL survive this!!!
